I played Haunting Ground on the PS2 back in high school and this game had me scared out of my wits every step I took. You play as Fiona a young girls who wakes up on a cage with only a vague memory of how she got there and who she is and it up to you to guide her through a massive mansion filled with secret passages and cause the people that live that too. This games is more or less a puzzle solver as you have solve puzzles you have to deal with the residents of the mansion as they chase you about trying to stop you and the worse thing is you have no real way to defend yourself other than your dog Hewie but it’s always best to try and find hiding places and to wait for the enemy to disappear, though there are time were they’ll look under or n your hiding place if you wait too long to get out to get out and leave the room. This games atmosphere kept me engaged the whole way though the story itself is a little confusing and takes a bit to figure out and they give you hardly any clues into figuring out the puzzles other than a few bit of paper you can find about the mansion. Other than that there much more to this game other than running, hiding and puzzle solving and can leave you a little bored at time but the atmospheres of this giant mansion mixed with the scares given to you as your being chased about helpless trying to hide really can keep you engaged and scares are more than worth it i give it 7.5 out 10. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- not to great at writing up reviews and just use this to read out on the radio but i thought this one came out ok so i wanted to share
