I posted about these little girls the other day- Ive been loosely following this story since May. I know I dont even know half the details regarding these little girls landing into CPS custody after recording treatment at PCH. From an outsiders view, it does look like that Hannah and Kaylas mother, Melissa Diegel, is sitting at home with a shattered heart- trying to fight to get her girls back. After talking with some other special needs mom friends, I started to vaguely remember Michelle Diegel- and it seems we are ALL being fooled in the case Freedom For The Sisters. Michelle was a member in several Special Needs Facebook Groups that I am also in. Michelle is an interesting gal, thats for sure. She would mention that her girls had an odd diagnosis and then the next day mention another weird diagnosis like she never mentioned the other weird diagnosis. Then when other moms were commenting on her threads, and some were questioning her- she became rude and used abusive language. Nothing ever added up, and she has been removed from several of these groups for acting crazy. Hannah and Kayla have wheelchairs, even though they can run, jump and walk normally. Hannah and Kayla are 10 and 12 years of she and still wear diapers even though they can use the restroom, because their mom wants them to wear diapers. As I remember these details, Im quite certain that something sick and wrong is going on here- on mother, Michelle Diegels part. I have been taking my children to PCH for treatment for 7 years now. My kiddos see a combined 22 physicians at PCH, including GI (The doctor who initially made the CPS report regarding the sisters is a GI doc in the clinic I take my kiddos to). They are ALL extraordinary professionals. The article below is so far fetched and ridiculous. The article is suggesting that these girls have been ceased by CPS and PCH so that our medical professionals can perform a crazy medical study on the girls. As I mentioned before, PCH professionals DO throw CPS out as a threat to MANY of us families that have children with chronic healthcare needs- if we disagree with treatment or treatment options, be prepared to see social work show up threatening you with a CPS report. This does NEED to change. However, our amazing and extraordinary professionals at PCH and the state of Arizona DOES NOT SIEZE CHILDREN TO PERFORM BOGUS MEDICAL STUDIES ON THEM. Period. I am just hoping, wishing and praying for these little girls! I hope wish and pray their mama gets the help she needs, and/or I hope wish and pray that these little girls find a forever family who keeps their best interest and medical needs in play.
