I posted this elsewhere then saw your link :) I have seen two wild cats in swan area of WA, and before my neighbour died, he saw one a few times. Came to us cause he got a bit frightened cause it just jumped on his roof and sat there and looked at him. I thought he was making it up till i saw one, possibly same cat. We are at the end of a T junction. I had just walked outside on a nice balmy night, saw the cat walking towards my house, so i started backing up. Then it turned the cnr and walked on (back out to the bushes). I was terrified but it never went for me, though it kept its eyes on me all the way. It was a beautiful soft grey colour, not sure if thats what you call a blue. Sry no pictures. Was too scared to get camera and turn my back on it. the second time, i was rushing my son to hospital (as fast as autobahn) on beechboro rd and came across one in the middle of the road feasting on a carcus. I weighed anchors, and it took off over the fence into whiteman park. It was black and same size as the other one. Smaller than a panther but with the same build/shape. They look strong. And the only thing that scared me is knowing what damage they could do to a person with no cage separating us. I havent seen one since, but then we are no longer a country town. This is around 2007/2008
