I posted this picture not to expose my face and tell everybody how obsessed I am with taking selfies. Oh no. This was taken approximately 6 hours before my birthday, which is today. I was sitting with two of my friends, chillin out, looking at the horizon, singing songs and constantly gasping because of the skys beautiful color. I sighed deeply, thinking how that plain, cliché moment made me happy. It was worth the shot. This face that you see is a face that has gone through a lot of ups and downs. Soaked by tears and stretched by smiles. I realized my face is not something you can describe as beautiful, but it contains all those years that I went through. My face tells my story. The eyes, nose, lips, cheeks and forehead. The freckles, the moles, the lines, the zits. They represent me. Nineteen years. Ive been existing for nineteen years. I wonder how long would this face be seen on earth. I wonder how it would look like after some years. I am very thankful that God has given me another year. Another year for people to see my face. Another year to live. To my family, I will never be complete if it wasnt for all of you. To my friends, schoolmates, and some people I know, you made me realize how vast the world is and how varied people are. To the people who tested my will, my patience and my faith, Ive become better than I was before. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I can proudly say that Ive been living my life well. I would never be LEAN SUAREZ CRUDA if I dont have this face, and I would never be me if I dont have ALL OF YOU. I love my life.
