I posted this to a Moms against guns site. Let we know what you think. Good people die because of this thought process. Sandy hook would be a non story if staff was armed. Wishful thinking has never stopped a violent evil criminal, neither has a gun law. The teacher that put the students behind the desk and told the shooter they were in the gym would be alive today if she had a firearm when he came in the classroom. Please stop hurting good people. Why should politicians and their kids get armed security, your kids get a sign. Please wake up before we lose more good people. Criminals dont obey laws, a gun free school sign reads come on in and have fun, police cant get here for 10 min. There was just an attempted shooting the other day, the 1 death was the shooter, response time by civilian, 5 sec. I know you will block this because it makes too much sense and doesnt fit your agenda. Please rethink your position, even Connecticut voted for armed security in schools. The laws they put forward would not have prevented the shooting, that has been admitted by the very people who drew up the legislation.
