I pray that we learn from the mistakes and errors of others, that we have to draw from. We have been given examples to help us learn. How many before us never saw what was coming at them, until it was way too late? It is a weakness of our flesh and a natural tendency of ours to become pacified and overly confident. We never think the warnings apply to us. We are entering into a season that picture some events in our future, that are amazing and frightening all at the same time. I wonder how those prophets felt who took the Word of YHVH to His people, yet were rejected? Wondering why no one had bothered to take the warnings seriously and why no one would want to err on the side of caution in case maybe…just maybe the warnings were valid. It is better to not know or understand at all, then to have some insight and not do anything about it. All of those people before us did not think the warnings were speaking to them either, but those who know should be the FIRST ones to stop and do a self-evaluation. We are the blind leading our ownselves into the ditch, and not content with that we pull others in along with us. There is much, much more than just the knowing and what we know is nothing in the sight of Elohim. May we all be preparing for the events that are coming and seeking to truly be those set-apart people that YHVH is looking for, and who will be ready for Yeshua’s return. Hearts need to be changed, attitudes put away, humility in place of pride and meekness instead of arrogance and rebellion. We are the last ones to believe that we are capable of those things, but oh how our own hearts betray us. Jeremiah 11:7-8 7 ‘For I earnestly warned your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Mitsrayim, until this day, rising early and warning, saying, “Obey My voice.” 8 ‘But they did not obey or incline their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of his evil heart. So I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, and they did not do.’ ” Always, seek the truth…rethink, relearn, return.
