I pray the nation will recognize that You are Lord and that it will repent of its waywardness and seek Your Counsel. May You rise up wise men and women who will teach us again the lessons of humility, love, truth, and grace in all walks of life. If we are called to serve in governmental positions, may we do so with a spirit of unity, compassion and discernment. Heal our wounds O Father, heal our land.
