I pray you can all open this up and see it...its PHENOMENAL!!! I cant tell you how many times I wanted to jump up an down screaming how happy I was or break down crying at how overly blessed I felt in that moment! Ayden completed the hardest endurance challenge hes ever faced so far! Ayden not only finished the Vitamin Run (a culmination of running the beach, buoy swims, paddle boarding and wave diving, all in huge surf) today to culminate the ending of the 3 week session of the OC Junior Guards, but he finished toward the middle of his pack! #25!!!! Holy flying monkeys! Aaaaaaand to top it off, his group was the only one to finish the entire portion of their course today because the swells were just not letting go, were ranging from 5-7 ft. and they had to cancel the other two following groups (one in which his older sister was in)! I dont care where you place, Buddy, just finish! Youve worked this hard these past few weeks, youve gotten over your fear of sharks, youve gotten over your fear of wave diving, youve gotten over thinking this just isnt for you! Youve got it all! He not only completed it, but he was nodding Hey! to the other swimmers in his Skates Group while on the paddle board segment of the course, like it was a simple pool swim! He ran his heart out, swam with all his might and refused assistance from Mr. Dean Daniel (our fantastic family friend and blood donor on many occasion, who participated with Ayden to offer help and encouragement along the way) on several attempts! I cant stop putting exclamation points, this is JUST TOO TOO EXCITING AND IM WAAAAAAAY TO DARN STINKIN PROUD OF THIS AMAZING LITTLE MAN!!!! Ayden is proving over and over that no matter what you can persevere, you can go the next step, that dr.s dont know it all and hes NEVER EVER GOING TO GIVE UP! Big thank yous to Mr. Dean, Ethan Daniel (BIG non-Brother) and Emma Schweed, Aydens instructor this week, who helped motivate and push our Rock Star to do his best!
