I previously posted about discovering smart meters and the associated dangers of electromagnetic radiation (emr). Heres an update on how we are dealing with it. It seems actually we actually have only just begun solving our emr problems. We have taken care of the Wi-Fi and cordless phones, having now found a marvelous shield for the only Wi-Fi link we have (for when its not in use), and the cordless phone bases. That is double sided aluminum bubble wrap insulation. Its meant for heat insulation and does a lousy job for that but does a great job for shielding electromagnetic frequency (emf). Furthermore it will stand up by itself if a little curve is bent into it by rolling it up before standing it up. Great stuff! We bought a new microwave which turns out not to be within specs ..... i.e. it puts out more electromagnetic radiation than the law allows ..... but tomorrow Im going to make a shield for it too for when we use it, and then we should be OK . We have insulating pockets for our cellphones and Kindlefires, so you would think that we are in superb shape....... But not so........ We are swimming in an electromagnetic soup. I found yesterday that the bedroom had intermittent HUGE spikes of emr every 30 minutes or so lasting for a variable length of time. It turns out that outside the bedroom on the outside wall we have a gas meter which has been changed to a gas smart meter without our knowledge or consent, and is of course responsible for the massive dose of emr we are getting in the bedroom..... right by our heads. (No rude comments please!!!!) And it turns out that the huge radiation we are getting in the kitchen is from our neighbors gas smart meter across the driveway, not from our smart meter the other end of the garage. That latter is well shielded from the house by all the metal in the circuit breaker box which is just this side of the wall the meter is on. To make everything worse, I discovered this morning that we have huge radiation spikes coming from under the house as well, most likely from wiring along the sewage pipes but that will have to be explored. Houses in this area do not have basements but are built on a reinforced concrete slab and strange things happen with emr and wiring and water pipes I understand, so that may be an interesting problem to solve. So the first thing to do is shield the safe meters and see what happens. We dont know what we will do about the neighbors gas smart meter yet, but were working on ideas. But after shielding the meters Ill retake measurements to see what difference it has made and go from there. We have been unable to find an emf specialist in the area who can help us sort out our problems. However, we have found several groups who are working on emf problems and that is where I found out about the bubble wrap aluminum emf shield. I found a terrific woman who wrote a Kindle book on the subject ... EMF Health Alert by Holly Manion & Alfred Pacheco. They are based in California so if they talk about laws it has to do with CA law. She has a website too with more info. emfhealthalert/ So we are busy busy busy sorting out these problems and learning more and more every day. Ill keep adding updates.
