I pride myself as being a person who has a bit of a way with words and someone who somewhat knows what to say most of the time. However, I found myself silenced yesterday at the tragic news of the death of one of my good buddies and brother, Crespin Bagel Trevino. Hands down, Bagel was one of the great ones. I admired his infectious spirit and his passion for life in everything he did. He was truly one of a kind and Im going to miss him terribly. This, unfortunately, is on the heels of the recent death two weeks ago of another good buddy and brother of mine, Noe R Bernal. I trust in the Lord and His plan, but I cant help but feel broken and super sad at the fact that Ill never see two of my favorite people on this earth ever again. I was blessed to know them both and I will always cherish the good times we had together. With that being said, I implore everyone to enjoy your friends and family. Celebrate your relationships with them and never cease to tell them how much you love them and how much they mean to you. Dont wait until tomorrow to say what you wanna say today. Dont hold grudges and free yourself by forgiving and removing the negative from your heart. Were only gifted a brief moment on this earth to share with the ones we love. Make it count! My wish is that you never ever take a day in your life or in the life of your loved ones for granted. With a heavy heart, yet with hope for tomorrow, Im dedicating my show tonight and my run on Sunday to both Bagel and Noe. Prayers for the Trevino and Bernal families.
