“I promise to remain mindful that I represent the citizens of Manchester, NH (Ward 5), and to behave in a way that reflects positively on all of us. To that end, I vow to remain issue oriented and not participate in negativity, personal attacks or disrespectful behavior, and to consistently work for consensus.” As Alderman, I promise to act responsible in preparing for meetings and attending them. I will try to get my questions answered before the meetings, do my best to not only point out my views but also those of my constitutes on issues for which I have strong preferences, come prepared to move on issues and to help fashion compromise when necessary. As Alderman, I will be prepared to assume an even stronger leadership position, a role for which I believe I am well prepared. I will continue to work closely with the other Alderman and Mayor in the ongoing effort to provide the best services and planning we can afford. As Alderman, I will try to return every phone call and e-mail where a response is requested as soon as possible, but at least within 48 hours. I will insist on strict, fair and uniformly enforced building codes. I will make sure Manchester follows up on these opportunities prudently and effectively.
