I promised I´d share some details about Penny Sartori´s new book. Okay, here ist goes: It is definitely worth reading it even if you followed the daily mail series. While most of the best stories already have been covered the book still contains some more stories worth reading. The upside is that the book contains almost exculsively NDEs from Dr. Sartori´s own research. The downside is that almost all aspect have already been discussed by other researchers (NDErs not being able to wear watches, childhood NDEs, cultural differences). Also, I wish she´d gone more in depth drawing conclusions. I am still waiting for a thourough discussion of the cultural differences, as I believe being send back because of some messengers having accidentally chosen the wrong person IS fundamentally different from being send back because the person has still important work to do, this is more than a differnt interpretation of the same thing - and this is only one aspect of cultural differences...But that is a general complaint concerning the literature...To sum it up, the book is worth buying if you are interested in another collection of NDE-stories. Penny Sartori is most definitely a sincere person so nothing seems to be made up by her.
