I promised previously I would translate a document which is a speech by then Prime Minister Ramiz Alia at the fall of Communism. This is the first page i will post the second page soon! Who will be our Demagog Received from Decisions by the Political Bureau on October year 1989 Our System has failed faced by the capitalist one, there fore we are forced to change our strategy said Ramiz Alia to those attending: The strategy will rule in two directions: 1- In respecting of human rights and 2- In forming Political Pluralism. Human rights are something between us and can be abused up to a point but pluralism must be offered due to impossibility! We shall raise the possibility of making as many parties as they want,on the left and right and center but all in all these parties must be controlled and steered by us, as well the schedules of foundation of these parties must be created by us. At their helm there must be people who will adhere to our strategy. The party that will come to head will take the reigns of government, shall curse Communism from top to bottom. In this manor we will win the sympathy of the West and the anticommunist disidency. Those that are in jail sentenced and sought politically will say about us: they truly hate Communism. They will come closer and they will embrace us. Their moral card is important to us. We will bring them closer and employ them in unimportant positions while never allowing them to take power, because as soon as they come into power they will get even and we will become their servants. As far as respecting human rights we must compensate them, the jailed ones and we must give them housing. The sequestered and the depropertized we will give them papers that will show them property ownership which will at no time possess. In different forms we will get them to fight with each other go through court proceedings where the rotation will be comprised of one step to a second step due to a technical defect force them to return to step one for readjudication. Here they will age but we must be aware of their children. To them we will give a passport and a little pressure we will remove them from country. Those that will pretend and force stay will be hurt. The property belongs to us as we made it. Materials that Gorbacev send, I have been studying for 2 years and that they have greatly moved ahead for which you know. We have room for seven Central Committees and for this we shall not be afraid. We have the studies and the platforms ready for obeyence. We will have many intellectuals which will object whom we will not employ. A disorder may be created by professional intellectuals but to them we we will give mini pensions and we will give them view . Kosova is at the threshold of presenting their constitution, let them do what ever they want, we have our own platform. Every thing is been set up, the strategy is clear to all of you, and we have created the path to the success of our mission. Under the extreme propaganda against Communism and with some small sentencing should make appear proud communism. We Communist reformers will follow our strategy in economy that Capitalists and property owners of the future in a socialist place with our people. With this strategy, inside two or three legislative sessions we will have our communist class in a capitalist one.
