I propose the US commit itself to building a hospital in space to treat anyone with mobility issues. Gravity is the greatest obstacle to recover of a multitude of mobility related medial concerns. If we were to remove gravity from the equation, patients rehabilitation times would be 70 to 80% faster. Insurance would pay for transport and treatment and aid in the building and maintenance of the facility. It would also allow us to support and subsidize advanced medical research in space. Thoughts?
