I purchased a copy of a similar wall plaque when I was 26 years old and my wife was killed by a drinking driver 8 weeks after we were married. I still have that wall plaque hanging in my cottage bedroom at Sylvan Lake and another copy like it hanging in my home office behind me right now as I type this posting. It is that prayer that has kept me positively directed from that time until this very day. The beautiful lady that I married thereafter bought one for my office for me years later, and had it framed. I look at it often and draw strength from it since she also passed into eternity several years ago from unknown causes. Her own personal plaque that she always referred to during her hard and good times also hangs in the front hallway of this house and it says this about HER perspective, BUT THE GOD OF ALL GRACE WHO HATH CALLED US UNTO HIS ETERNAL GLORY, BY CHRIST JESUS, AFTER THAT YOU HAVE SUFFERED AWHILE, WILL MAKE YOU PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN AND SETTLE YOU --- I PETER 5:10. Both of these writings are a testimony to the goodness of God as we travel on this journey of life and will hold us in good stead as we also pass through the same portals into eternity some day soon. WE ARE HERE ON THIS PLANET ONLY IN A FINITE SPACE IN TIME --- Like has often been said, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE we too will take the same journey.
