I put a hurting on some winter flounder today with my friend Chuck. It took a lot of patience to find them, but we managed. The first area had nice scenery, but we couldnt buy a bite. We stopped at old faithful Rye Harbor, but only managed one keeper. So, it was in to another spot and that move paid off big. We landed a total of 14 flounder; 5 shorts and 9 keepers. Anchoring and chumming was a dud. Drifting was the ticket as it allowed us to cover more bottom.
