I put a post on Pirton parish site about the fact hat Mrs Hofton has contacted the bus company moaning as she does about this and that going on in HER village about the bus stopping at the Fox , 1 person commented that I must have too much time on my hands to post something like that, and 2 people liked her comment. So I have removed the post before others can put condescending remarks on, but left it on there long enough for over 20 people to see it. What local villagers (that have lived here all their lives) dont realise that she and more like her in this village poke their noses into things and spoil other peoples lives. its ok for car owners, but for people that dont have any transport, the bus is their life line. Its time local villagers voiced their opinions, we are all guilty of not going to parish council meetings, etc. and should put ourselves out to doing so, ie no vote no comment, is a true saying. There are so many other issues happening in the village far to many to name but here are some. Home owners that have a garage and dont use it (I wonder how many state on their insurance form that their car is GARAGED!!!) !!! Cars being parked on verges, this one is so wrong, in Letchworth for example you get a ticket if you do. I could go on. My point in all this is if your not a member of the my snot is better than yours brigade, its seems we others should be in a work house.
