I put in for the Multnomah County Jail as a correction deputy the requirements were 2 years experience and they wanted you to have a Correction Certificate, then if selected you would need to pass a POST exam or have completed one and passed with in 12 months. I have been a certified correction officer for 2.3 years and passed a POST exam 5 months ago. They emailed me today telling me I was not qualified enough for the podition znd will not be allowed to move on to PT test and could not apply again for 2 years. :-/ trying to figure out how that happened when I just got selected for 2 police agencies to take tests. Im not sure how this works
