I put some pictures together here yesterday that bespoke volumes about Easter, but used no words. I was quite pleased because one was my picture, the other published within hours was from my soul brother. Equally wonderful, but needing more. The beauty came when the two pictures went together..,,, And then my little God voice said to me our stories are never truly singularly our own. No matter how small we are, no matter how very small any action we perform, we are interconnected to be a part of a bigger something that we dont always realize. We are a part of a bigger story. We are a part of the magnificent story of life narrated by God which He uses to reach countless others. Thats the incredible part of our life story, is that it is used to be a witness to God of His mercy and grace. Like you and me. Many of you became my friends through my personal tragedy of cancer, but my story is just a tiny part of so much more. Before cancer I was a Christian, but it was sure not as deep and as passionate a faith as I have today. And its not my story, it grew and it became our story.think of it. We became close to baby Ace Walton, we cried over the death of a man name d Scottie Stowers who wrote to us a year ago and we promised he would not die alone. Its the story of countless women who have fought cancer,and their fights made them stronger, and it made men be more in touch with feelings, and when we realized it, not just us, but thousands of people we do not know, it became Gods example of learning to grow and to love. And everything we do everywhere, everyday, holds the potential to be a lesson in love from our Father, God. So no matter if you reach out in love, you scream in rage, or you weep bitterly at loss or you reach out to others in love or witness, just remember that you are being used by God to create a parable for others.
