I put this on Joes page for his friends, but I also wanted to say here how much comfort I have had from your texts and phone calls and visits. Joe was troubled and sometimes not easy to be around, but he was the light of my life and I cant believe I have lost him. His sister and I have been overwhelmed with the kindness we have had from you all, we will never get over this but we will treasure our 15 years with our beautiful, clever, stupid, gorgeous boy. I cant accept you, because of my work, but I want you all to know how much your support has meant to me and Hannah. Despite his size he is still my baby and you cannot imagine the hole that has been ripped into my heart. Please any of you who think you are invincible, realise that there but for the grace of god could go any of you. I will never be able to hold his hand, or cuddle him, or embarrass him by shouting love you to him again. He was going to mow my lawn and paint my kitchen this holiday. He loved winding up his sister, did a good job of it, but loved us all and was beginning to be able to tell us that. He also loved his new job (not pot washing, but the people he worked with) and was chuffed to bits to be earning some money. He was looking forward to his holiday with me and Sean, and enjoying taking Ziggy to Carsington to make him swim. All that is gone but I feel very privelidged (cant spell it) to have had my boy in my life for 15 years. I wish he knew how many people loved him and what a hole he has left. When we know about funeral arrangements I want you all to know you are welcome to come and the best thing you can all do is to hug each other, and your parents and brothers and sisters and friends, and make the very most of each day because life is sometimes too short.
