I ran into some old friends today who happen to be Bible-believing Christians. We spoke briefly and the subject of the second coming of Christ was center stage as we agreed that it sure seems like all the signs are pointing toward that universe-changing event. I keep hearing this from many many directions. Movies, books, preaching, gatherings of people in all different vocations and perspectives. Everything seems to speak of some sort of coming cataclysm, whether it be something natural like an earthquake or something man made like a dirty bomb or something supernatural, like the approaching darkness of the Devil or the approaching return of the King of Kings (Jesus) to take His children home. Even one sect of the Muslim religion is looking forward to the coming of a messiah-like figure (12th Imam) to come and rule the world, forcing Islam on all by the sword if need be. And then you have the die-hard progressives the believe that man will save himself eventually (I wonder what kind of blinders theyre wearing?) If you are a Believer in the Christ of Scripture I urge you to keep looking up, keep serving the Lord, keep believing and do whatever it takes to boost your faith. One day very soon faith itself will be an obsolete notion, forgotten in the light of the glories our eyes will behold. In the waiting, know that you are never alone and that you are loved with an everlasting love; an abiding love that will never fail you. God bless, my friends.
