I rarely post anything on Facebook, because I am rarely on Facebook. Oldest daughter in Peru for the past month has me on here more regularly of late. Saw this and decided I should take the opportunity to invite all of my Facebook friends to consider donating blood sometime this summer (if you are able to do so). There is almost always a shortage during the summer months. Really neat to see an international superstar like Cristiano Ronaldo keeping himself eligible to donate blood. You can donate every eight weeks. Takes about an hour. I got hooked during college and am lucky to have a donor center on my way to work.
