I rarely post anything too personal on fb, mainly just stick to annoying dog photos. While I have dreaded to make this post, I have known many of you since childhood and you were also friends with my brother. My brother passed away last Thursday, September 25th. It was his 40th birthday. To say my brother had a heart of gold is an understatement. He was so caring and concerned about his family, almost to a fault. My brother was my best friend and we lived together for the majority of our lives, up to the date of his death. He acted as a father figure to my daughter. All through elementary school, when it came time to make father day cards, Jilana always made hers for Bronsy. While he could frustrate me at times, my brother and I never fought. He always had a smile on his face for me and always let me and others know how proud of me he was. Often times, those that seem the most happy carry the most pain inside and refuse to burden anyone else with their pain. I pray that in his final moments, he knew how much I loved him and that I always had his back. The pain and emptiness I feel right now is almost unbearable. RIP Bronsy. Not a day will go by that I do not think of you. Your dreams were always much bigger than mine. I promise to accomplish what you so desperately wanted. I was in my room across the hallway when he passed. Around the time of his death, I was listening to this song. I like to believe that it was a sign that his final moments were peaceful. That he finally found peace.
