I rarely write anything on here that is not work-related but today im making an exception. I went to grab a few coffees this morning. A man in his 60s does not know the word please. A girl my age nearly pushed me over to grab MYYYY coffee as she announced in hysterics. A lady in her 40s wanted everything to happen faster and made sure we aaaaall knew that. NOONE said the words thank you. It happens all the time but today was like a concentrated movie-version of neanderthal behavior. Seriously, if one more a-hole is rude to a waiter Im going to return the favor on the waiters behalf. To girls and boys my age: you generally dont have enough problems yet to be SO insufferable. To the older generations: you should know better. To everyone else: stop letting it slip past you... We dont have the right to make someones day shitty just because we can. Kindness and basic manners go a long way.
