I read a post from AB Darius Dillon calling on the President of Liberia to dismiss those holding dual citizenship but most especially American Citizenship. Why are Liberians denying the fact that those who first wrote the constitution of the Republic of Liberia were all American Citizens even if they denied it when they wrote the constitution. They were disgruntled because of what they have experience under their masters but they were American Citizens. They became presidents, senators, representatives, lawyers, teachers, etc. Have we native Liberians thought of it that this have happened in our history and fooling ourselves because of insecurity? Have foreign nationals not worked in the government of Liberia? Are the Liberians who are holding dual citizenship not Liberians? Can anyone deny the fact that they are not Liberians? We need to wake up and live in the twenty-first century. Liberians live with the #REALITY.
