I read this post last night and didnt sleep well at all. Fears I have like this sometimes consume me and I just have felt led to share it with as many as will read this article. I have absolutely never felt anything but compassion and despair for parents this has happened to. More times than Id like to admit I have gasped and jerked behind me reaching for a car seat because I just knew I had forgotten the baby as I hustled all my children, their belongings and my work things out the door. By Gods grace, and my complete OCD about it, I have never forgotten them but can def see how my busy life could turn into my worst enemy one day. My days as a relator are NEVER the same and always change when and where I drop my kids off. My mother has even made a bracelet to wear when she has the baby...You may say thats crazy, but no one is above a mistake, even horrific ones!! Just had to comment on this...such a heavy heart today :(
