I read with great interest in the local Herald “It is a good development that Britain has said it is going to support Sadc under President Mugabe. It marks a new era since London has been hostile to Harare.”Ambassador Mutsvangwa said Britain should now work on total lifting of the illegal sanctions which he said were serving no purpose at all.Hear hear Cdes..... 1.If its indeed true that the sanctions serve no purpose at all, why is Mugabes regime so desperate to have them lifted? 2.Mugabes infamous rant in which he asked the then Premier Blair, that he keeps his Britain and he keeps his Zimbabwe serves a great reminder as to who actually has been hostile to one another.As far as I can recall, Mugabe has always used every chance he gets to attack Britain and America. It is good that Britain has avoided being dragged into a Zanu Pf trap.Vaudzwa zvavanga vachida kunzwa.
