I realised that it was "getting up" time when a foul aroma surrounded me upon servants bathroom floor, I was dreaming of brown stuff with ham and cheese, and of other snacks that make my life complete, when, I must admit, this strange and rather "tasty" smelling pong awoke me from my snoring slumber..... Belly my co-worker and faithful "friend", just looked at me from her little dog bed (that is tucked away in a corner of the big dog bed room) and rolled over sniffing the air with interest, yet distaste...... I stretched myself, then strolled over to the servant, expecting to fine her making noise from under her top fur, and to my surprise she sat straight up, looked at me, sort of patted my head (could have been a gentle push) and said "bloody hell Darce, you need to get outside" I could not contain my joy as we both trotted down the stairs, and servant opened the back door, and out I popped..... I had a wander about for a bit, had a quick pee, had a quick other thing, then wandered back to find brown, cheese sprinkles and ham upon a platter, awaiting me..... I joyously chomped it down, popped out again just to check for the "France", but nothing happening there, so I think it has gone.....and I came and settled upon my kitchen floor. My legs are still wobbling a bit, and my tail has flopped again, and that could explain the seeping aroma that I let rip this morning.....BUT every cloud has a silver lining, and servant was up and ready for work with NO prompting from me.....although she was slightly revolted by the pong, whereas I felt it had an oakey, earthy tang, with a hint of fruitiness and summer evenings and would have been fine in a more ventilated area..... Bless her, and her simple sense of smell, if she could only smell like I can, she would smell PAST the basics, and get the whole story.... Farewell for now, and have a lovely day, I am going to snooze until I am starving again.....
