I realize that its difficult to take ANYONE serious that has on Minnie Mouse ears in their profile picture, but I need EVERYONE to get serious for a minute. Ready? Heres the serious subject. Actually, there are (of course) 3 things. 1) Why are we acting like idiots and conjuring up philosophic talking points about the border situation. STOP sending all of these countries money. STOP! Stop visiting as tourists. MONEY talks. Secure the border with the national guard, like NOW.....this is an artery thats bleeding...not a scraped knee.....and last, send ALL of them back. WHAT is inhumane about that? I didnt say beat them or kill them. SEND them back to their families. WAS that difficult to figure out? I am exhausted with the slow moving rhetorical approach. Does our president care? NOPE! He doesnt. 2) I am going to share a priceless nugget with you. LISTEN up: Not everything is about money. Simple truth. Remember it. Integrity ALWAYS trumps money. When people assimilate their top five list of people that they trust to do whats right....strive to be on it. 3) I am getting an old woman look when I look in the mirror. I have been hurling insults at the mirror every morning......poor STEVE. He has to see this up close and personal. But, I just told a friend....I think I am OK with it. I have earned the wise old woman description. My oldest granddaughter will be 20 next week. Truly, I AM getting old. But I am happy to say that I have loved and lived, taken the risks often, colored outside the lines a few times.....loved and lost...and lost some more...but I didnt stop loving. Thats the message here. Love you for the inside person, love OTHERS for the inside person....the flesh will age and get ugly...the beauty of a pretty soul will last. I am thankful for all the PRETTY souls that I have in my world. PRETTY is as PRETTY does. #forrestgump
