I realize that so much of what Ive been through is for other people... Father has truly used my life experiences as a textbook to help and teach His people! Even now, I feel led to share this with someone whos dealing with church hurt and leadership abuse.... Yes, its real... It happens, but its just a part of the process! Ive been mistreated, misunderstood, ignored and rejected by ministry leaders more often that I can say! But I tell you this... God used all those hurtful, painful encounters to teach me how to love and pray for those He loves, even when they fall short of His glory! His Unlovely Leaders have taught me how to flow in a hard place, continuing to walk in love and finishing a work, in spite of all kind of warfare, resistance and attacks of sabotage due to jealousy. Theyve taught me that my worth and value is not based on mans acceptance, approval or recognition, but on Gods appointment and selection! Ive learned that God chooses what He likes and He blesses what is pleasing to Him. While the leaders may have done me dirty, (and still do at times), God was watching the attitude of my heart... To see if I would lash back, get discouraged and give up or if I would keep worshipping, serving and blessing Him and His people! These were tests of my character and my ability to respond in a Christlike manner rather than to lower my standards and get down and dirty like those who had offended me and sought to discredit me. Trust me... It hasnt been easy! But its been worth it, as every time I went to God with my pain, my tears and my concerns, I was met with His lovingkindness and tender mercies! And growth and maturity came, as He taught me a more excellent way! And at the end of the day, when God sends you somewhere and they just cant seem to accept you, it doesnt mean that you messed up or you missed God... It simply means that place is too small for you... and those leaders are too small minded to receive the gift that God has sent to help them. And thats not your bad! Its their loss! So brush their dust off your feet, take the hand of God and keep it rolling! God has a better, wealthier, broader place for you!!! I hopes this helps someone! Take courage...
