I realize that the spiritual war in our lives is real. I need to stay conscious of that and be intentional about my spiritual growth. Last night, I got tangled up in some stuff that is harmful to my spiritual health, some stuff that is spiritually destructive. As a Christian, I have a sincere intention to live a clean, healthy, godly lifestyle. But yet, there are times which I find myself in the mud. And that’s why I’m so passionate about engaging in activities that bring me closer to God because the closer I get to God, the more I stay out of the mud. As I grow spiritually, I develop the wisdom and strength to refuse and replace self-destructive attitudes and behaviors. I’ll never be perfect, but as I focus on God, I become better than I was yesterday. So, I’m committed to consistently investing time in spirit-building activities such as praying (and staying in an attitude of prayer), reading the Bible, going to a good church, connecting with people who are spiritually strong (to learn from them), and reaching out to people who are spiritually weak (to teach them) because our spirit grows as we receive encouragement from others and as we give encouragement to others. I’m moving in the right direction. I’m climbing up the ladder of peace and reaching out to help others do the same. Life is sooo good! Thank you God!!!!
