I realized at times the Browns circle of friends will decrease because we arent a needy couple...So we pose a threat to those who need to be needed...I get it now...you ever look around and wonder why those who U used to be close too, now only deal with those that they can laugh & talk about?...LOL!!! I get it now...but I got it long time ago too...just revisiting this in a new light...check out an excerpt from a piece I wrote in 2007 called Synergy...inspired by one of my Pastors who said.... “Needy people attract other needy people, but empowered people attract other empowered people and together the 2 create synergy” -Pastor Steven Bishop Steven Walker Some people NEED to be NEEDED....BUT... Synergy-IS the PHENOMENON that results from the working together or functioning of, 2 components that by coming together form something greater than the sum of their individual effects or capabilities…. You attract what you ARE, not what you’re NOT!!! (needy attracts needy...even if your need is the need to be needed...) At this point in my life I want my relationship(s) to create SYNERGY….SO we both equally BRING to the relationship, and the sum of our capabilities and components form something GREATER or a PHENOMENON called SYNERGY!!!
