I really cannot recommend this website highly enough. Although any self-respecting groover will know many of these tunes from compilation CDs here is a chance to hear them in the original context. And also to hear stuff which was excised from the canon by latter-day tastemakers. We tend to forget that the lines between jazz, soul, funk, ska, salsa, latin jazz etc. were once not as clearly defined. But groove is eternal.
