I really detest starting off a Monday morning with a political rant but God knows I have to vent my anger and frustrations somewhere! Best here than to go beat the living crap out of morons that voted this man into office or take it out on a concrete wall....... all the good that would do, right? Hes got a pen and a phone and hes at it again! Who does he think he is? He certainly is not a president acting in the behalf of his nation, nor is he following the Constitution to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from enemies, foreign and domestic. He IS the enemy! Can anyone name a single thing this man has done that helps this countrys recovery? Just one??? I certainly cant. And Congress is about as useless as tits on a boar pig! But I will give them this one for standing their ground, at least for now, on increasing the minimum wage. If Congress is refusing to approve a minimum wage increase, you can bet your butt they have legitimate and numerous reasons why. This couldnt be a worse time to jack the entire country up with higher costs again. To begin with, minimum wage jobs are not going to help the middle class. Where does he get that from? Minimum wage jobs do not make up the middle class wage earners.......... what middle class still exists. What an idiot! Hes determined to make the rest of the middle class go away and make them become dependent on government handouts too. Secondly, small business owners like myself that are finally growing and could use extra help running our businesses will have to re-think any option of adding anymore positions if they have to absorb more expenses in an already struggling economy. I cannot and will not create minimum wage jobs at over $10/hour. Its that simple! Ill just have to make do with the situation I already have even longer to protect the security of my business now. If anything for most small businesses, someone or several someones may be forced out and will lose more jobs again to make up for the extra expenses to keep on the few. Get ready for it people! Unemployment is going to go through the roof again! Thirdly, as soon as the minimum wage goes up, so will other monthly expenses; electric, phone, shipping, water, gas, trash pick-up, etc. Those companies have to make it up somewhere to stay afloat and who is it that those costs are passed along to? You got it! Consumers; you me, and everyone else! Why cant this idiot see this? This is yet another attempt to secure the vote of a particular voting mentality come the midterms in November and I for one hope it blows up right in his ignorant face! Why isnt this man impeached and/or in jail??
