I really dont know what to say about mom. I thought her being move to a regular room ment she was getting better. Yes she does wake up some but unless you keep shaking her shoulder, right back to sleep she goes. She is talking a little, when she stays awake long enough. I had to strain to hear her. And then I had no idea what she was talking about. I was talking and she was looking at me sorta funny. I asked her, do you know who I am? She shook her head no. I told her who I am and she still didnt know me. She kept trying to reach out for something on her lap, I asked, what are you trying to find? She said her frying pan. She talked about a few people that I didnt have a clue about. She didnt know she was in the hospital or lived at the nursing home. The one that got to me the most was, I asked if she knew who she was? Shook her head no. I told her that she was Rachel and she is my mom. She looked me right in my eyes and told me Rachel was dead. That scared me.
