I really had no intentions of getting publicly involved in the local Germantown races until the issue of education came up in the mayors race. As a mom who has sat through hours of school board meetings and spends an extraordinary amount of time advocating for public schools, I can tell you that Mike Palazzolo attended most every SCS school board meeting during the transition and the first year of the unified district. I was there and I saw him. As for George Brogdon, I wonder if he has ever even set foot in one of the three G schools that is the subject of his campaign promises. Nothing makes me angrier than politicians exploiting children. If we could rid ourselves of them, then moms like me would not have to spend so much time keeping an eye on them.
