I really hate being a film fan sometimes. Im told each and every movie I like is rubbish and these have been the same films that the same people admit they like. Not every movie can be British. If only our country made the movies and Hollywood had never existed then celebs like Nicolas Cage and John Travolta would be serving people at tills and in restaurants. American Hustle and Wolf of Wall Street are both overblown, I hear. Theyre based on true stories, films like that are always overblown. Looper is too depressing, some have told me. Its not a comedy. Gravity is in outer space too much, someone moaned outside of fb. Thats the whole point. Look, I thought the world of Slumdog Millionaire, that was a work of art. I will watch Life of Pi when I can and 12 Years A Slave at some point. That last one mentioned is too brutal. Thats the idea. Its not called 12 Custard Pies A Throw. End of rant. Note: this was not directed at everyone on here.
