I really hated Ella. I found her extremely annoying and stupid. Does everyone agree with me? :p But, to phrase this question more formally: Ella, as one of the main characters was interesting in her own right. However, its hard to grasp the reasons Aziz had for loving her so passionately. Lets consider this for a moment: Ellas infatuation with Aziz is understandable. After all, he did set her free from her limitations. But, why would Aziz be infatuated by her? Shafak didnt help explain the connection between them as properly as could have been done. Whats your opinion?
