I really need to stop making eye-contact with and smiling at people on the train... I was sitting on the train to go to work, eating my breakfast trail mix and drinking iced coffee. This lady approached me, didnt say anything, and just stared at me. I looked up, smiled, and said hi (because Im a nice person who doesnt ignore people.) The following conversation went like this: Crazy train lady: is that trail mix? Me: Yes Crazy train lady: I like it She then held out her hand for me to give her some. I, a little shocked and not knowing how to say no, give her a little, hoping shell then leave me alone, but it is not to be. I then took a sip of my coffee. Crazy train lady: Is that coffee Me: Yes Crazy train lady: I like it She then held out her hand for me to hand her my coffee!!! Me: (Trying to think of a polite way to tell this lady to kiss off) I think Im going to finish my coffee alone. An interesting start to what Im sure will be an interesting day.
