I really wanted to send something a little different because of this being October 31, a day some call Halloween. Its not unusual to think of things dark, evil, to be curious about the grave on Halloween. Ideas about whats beyond the grave can be very frightening, but for people of faith, the grave does not necessarily create fear. I dont know how to interpret some specifics about the afterlife. I guess Im not worried about my interpretations because Im trusting Christ for bringing me to heaven. It always brightens my day. Some time back, I mentioned I would bring some updates to you about the Weekly encouragement! Well, heres one update I wanted to share... Recently, a friend of the Weekly encouragement! took information about this ministry to a lockdown facility (a jail!) and has begun to offer this ministry to some who are incarcerated. Well, yes, I know individuals in jail are not allowed to have email, but, this provides encouragement when they are released from jail to find hope, better ways of relating and better ways of interpreting life. Thats my hope and prayer as I invite you to pray with me for good things for this new opportunity. Wouldnt it be exciting if some who have turned to negative expressions that have led to difficult consequences would find help through the Weekly encouragement!?!!!
