I recall during Clintons first run, I was still a Legacy republican (my GGfathers Regiment voted for Lincoln to a man). We were delegates to a GOP Senatorial Convention, the Religious Right was trying to enter a plank to arrest all Gays & Lesbians and put them in a lock up. The speaker who resembled Herman Ghoering said we dont need a vote everyone here is for it!. The president of the local Log Cabin Republicans objected. A Texas House member behind us screamed kill that Fag! I told my wife we have fallen through a time warp we are in Berlin it is 1938! WE did and like Clare in Outlander, we cant get out! Craigh na dun or bust!
