I received a call on July 28th from Elmer Atkins. He called me to inform me that David (Slim) Heath had passed that morning. I cant recall what year he graduated. His running buddies were: Elmer Atkins, my Uncle Ron Stanley, my Uncle Ed Stanley, my cousins husband, Ray Musgrave. They spent many hours at my grandparents house on Telephone Road. They all served in WW II at the same time in different armed forces. When they were on leave once, they all put on their dress uniforms and had photos taken together. I have those photos. All great men! RIP, Slim! I havent been informed of any services as of yet.
