I received a comment from someone named Chris Onwuka. Here is what he wrote me: Michael Morin, It is heard to believe that you have s line of thought which no one trespasses. I have carefully followed your views on divinity and scriptural dispositions. These l considered unhealthy as it concerns most cardinal bases of our Christian belief. There was such post as separating the person of Jesus from Christ.. Matthew 27:17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?..... There are other scriptures that would not agree with your opinion. More so, when we start to lead people to believe strange doctrine, teaching subjects against the Personality of the Holy Spirit. We thereby ask what fate do profess other than Christianity. What spiritual books of reference do we consult other than the holy bible. ACTS 1:8.. Right from the time of the old testament of the bible the works and power of the Holy Spirit of God has been acknowledged but more in the new testament.. I have come to terms that you created this fb page and can delete any post or persons who do not appeal to your philosophies. Just go on delete but the truth has been established and blasphemies cannot hinder it. My answer: Dear Chris Onwuka-George, Obviously, as Jesus said, unless you are genuinely born again, you cant understand the Kingdom of God. And obviously you show me that you dont. Have you ever thought and ponder about who decided which books belong in the Bible? And how and when was the canon of the Bible put together? A little search among several websites, or through Google will give you the information you need. The Bible didn’t float down from heaven on a cloud. It wasn’t that simple. In fact, Christians in the first few centuries didn’t have a concept that there would even be a New Testament. They possessed writings by the Apostles and others that they honored, revered, and read at their gatherings for the breaking of the bread. But some local churches had different writings than others. The Church had not stepped forward and said, “These writings belong and these don’t.” It looks like history reinforces our confidence that God gave us His entire Word and preserved it for us, as He said He would. We have precisely the books that God planned from eternity—66 books in all. This is 100% untrue. What we have on hand, is only a small percentage of the whole truth which was available in the first century of the Church. All of Christianity believes the Bible is Divinely inspired. But most have no understanding of how the specific books were selected and more importantly, who made the decision. Did Roman Emperor Constantine decided what books belonged in the Bible? It is very important to clarify exactly what role the Emperor Constantine played in the Council of Nicea, what the purpose for the council was, what happened at Nicea, and briefly how the canon—the Bible as we know it—was formed. Constantine was a Roman Emperor who lived from 274 to 337 A.D. He is most famous for becoming the single ruler of the Roman Empire (after deceiving and defeating Licinius, his brother-in-law) and supposedly converting to Christianity. It is debated whether or not Constantine was actually a believer (according to his confessions and understanding of the faith) or just someone trying to use the church and the faith to his own advantage. Constantine called the Council of Nicea—the first general council of the Christian church, 325 A.D.—primarily because he feared that disputes within the church would cause disorder within the empire. The dispute in mind was Arianism, which was the belief that Jesus was a created being. (in fact, they preached the truth and their teachings were a serious treat to their false teachings) The famous phrase they were disputing was, There was when He was not. This was in reference to Jesus and was declared heretical by the council and thus resulted in the following words about Christ in the Nicene Creed: God from true God…from the Father…not made. It was determined by the council that Jesus was homoousia, meaning, one substance with the Father. The Trinity doctrine just started there. Later, people who didnt acknowledged that doctrine, were put to death. Historian Paul Johnson notes: “Constantine never abandoned sun-worship and kept the sun on his coins.” The Catholic Encyclopedia observes: “Constantine showed equal favour to both religions. As pontifex maximus he watched over the heathen worship and protected its rights.” “Constantine never became a Christian,” states the encyclopedia Hidria, adding: “Eusebius of Caesarea, who wrote his biography, says that he became a Christian in the last moments of his life. This doesn’t hold water, as the day before, [Constantine] had made a sacrifice to Zeus because he also had the title Pontifex Maximus.” Down to the day of his death in 337 C.E., Constantine bore the pagan title of Pontifex Maximus, the supreme head of religious matters. Regarding his baptism, it is reasonable to ask, Was it preceded by genuine repentance and a turning around, as required in the Scriptures? (Acts 2:38, 40, 41) Was it a complete water immersion as a symbol of Constantine’s dedication to Jehovah God?—Compare Acts 8:36-39. The reality is that the ancient Catholic Church selected the books and declared that they are Divinely inspired. Incidentally, that list that the Pope declared to be Divinely inspired was never questioned until Martin Luther in the 16th century. For over a century the followers of Luther excluded Hebrews, James, Jude, and Revelation, and even went further than their founder by rejecting II Peter, II and III John. Essentially Lutherans were eventually pressured to give up their position because the rest of the Protestant reformers weren’t so brash as to throw out New Testament books already infallibly established by the Roman Pontiff. But Luther and the balance of the reformers did discard some Old Testament books. Where is my point? First I want to tell you that people who decided to select the books of the Bible didnt know God at all. They were not born again. In fact, they were acting in the behalf of the devil. They chose the books and letters they could interpret for their own profit in order to to spread their false doctrines. This is the work of the devil (human mind) Fortunately, some texts they left in the Canon (Bible) inform us through prophecies that one day, the saints would be overcome. Not only put to death and slain in all the persecutions, but also destituted of the genuine truth about the Godhead and the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. This is found in Revelation 13:7 It was given power to wage war against Gods holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. and supported by the prophecies found in Daniel 12:7 ...When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.... another version says When the shattering of the holy people has finally come to an end, all these things will have happened. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. Daniel 9:26 and also supported by Daniel 12:11 From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, ... (Daily sacrifice is the Holiness given by the blood of Jesus, making the believer equal to Jesus before God.) All of Christianity is now indebted to the Roman Church for this and we all trust in Papal infallibility. Because if we don’t then we acknowledge that our Bible sitting on our bedside table may not have the correct table of contents. In fact, the very idea that the books of the Bible are Divinely inspired is another Catholic doctrine Protestants willingly accept. The historians are quite clear about the fact, that several thousands of books and letters from the first Church were destroyed, just because they were a treat to their false teachings. For example, Pope Alexander VI ordered all copies of the Talmud destroyed, with the Spanish Grand Inquisitor Tomas de Torquemada (1420-98) responsible for the elimination of 6,000 volumes at Salamanca alone. Solomon Romano (1554) also burnt many thousands of Hebrew scrolls and, in 1559, every Hebrew book in the city of Prague was confiscated. The mass destruction of Jewish books included hundreds of copies of the Old Testament and caused the irretrievable loss of many original handwritten documents. The oldest text of the Old Testament that survived, before the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls was said to be the Bodleian Codex (Oxford), which was dated to circa 1100 AD. In an attempt by the church to remove damaging Rabbinic information about Jesus Christ from the face of the earth, the Inquisition burnt 12,000 volumes of the Talmud. The Bible is, thus, a Catholic book, not a Protestant one. What I preach here, i have received it through revelation, because I, and the Mind of Christ, are ONE. I behold the Presence of The Firstborn Son of God, from morning to evening, and nobody will make me any harm.
