I received an e.mail from DirectBuy Clubs, asking me to join their club. A few years ago, we joined the club. The club is marketed as a way to save money by buying direct from the manufacturer. We went to the club, planning to order some products. The club had pages of order information to attempt to use to order products. We did not receive assistance from the staff. The prices for the items we wanted were higher than Home Depot and Lowes. I cancelled our membership, with the help of American Express and an attorney. We lost some money. We did not purchase any merchandise. It took several weeks to get the manager of the store to cancel the very expensive membership. If you are invited to join the DirectBuy Clubs, you may want to ask specifically what to expect. Dee Ann
