I received this email today from my membership provider regarding clients who have Medibank Private. I should not be affected by this but I will keep you all updated. Regards Amanda Dear Amanda AAMT has been advised by Medibank today that as of 1 September 2013 they will no longer accept any new requests for Remedial Massage Providers. This includes existing providers changing to a new location and new graduates. Some providers, who have not been compliant to Medibank criteria, will have their provider recognition withdrawn. This is a Medibank decision based on their independent investigations. In this case Medibank will advise the provider in writing direct. This will not come from AAMT. AAMT is responding to the changes Medibank has made to new provider numbers and location changes and has requested that we are involved in any consultation for new eligibility criteria. Regards AAMT
