I received word a few days ago that my friend Horace Washington died. This broke my heart into a million pieces. He was such a beautiful person who could light up any room with his good humor, tell it like it is approach to life, and his incredible talent. I had the honor of playing music with Horace on many occasions and he was to be a reoccurring guest in my Childrens show. The world was most certainly a more beautiful place with him in it, and I will be forever grateful for the time I spent with him. He was a remarkable human who touched the lives of countless people. He said he would like to be remembered as an inspiration. My dear Horace, you will be. Please give this wonderful KC legend the honor of watching this video even if you did not ever get to meet him. I loved his perspective and I wish to share it with you. Rest in peace my friend.
