I recently asked a group of moms who exclusively pump how they refer to how they feed their babies. The overwhelming response, and I agree, we all breastfeed. Our milk comes from the breast and our breasts work really hard for them not to get credit. Many found if they simply said bottle fed the natural assumption is formula. Nothing wrong with that mode of feeding. But the moms and their boobs provided the milk. Some even say they nurse their babie with a bottle. So, call it what you want in your circles. But if you are talking to me I breastfeed and sometimes I nurse from the boob. So now I want to ask you moms who breastfeed via a bottle, what do you call it? Do you call it something different depending on the audience?
