I recently heard a tv preacher say if you are in the perfect will of God, then everything will go smoothly and there wont be any hardship associated with it. Lol! .. Unfortunately though, whenever this type of gospel is preached, the person that is preaching it is setting up the listeners for potential disappointment when things dont go smoothly (you know, like in the real world!). In contrast to this well known preacher, Jesus said in this would you will have trouble, but be of good cheer for I have overcame the world!. The goal isnt to be able to avoid hardship, but rather to be able to overcome the world through Jesus, just as He did! A quick disclaimer though... Getting in to the perfect will of God will oftentimes lesson the hardship... In other words, its light years better than being outside of Gods will! But at the same time, there may be difficulties regardless, but be of good cheer! (Keep your joy!) Pastor Dexter
