I recently learned a true lesson on life. I lost a longtime friend (64 years of knowing each other like brothers). I was blessed to have spoken with him and seen him via Skype in the last month or so, then talking with him via phone at the hospital just a week before his passing. We all have hectic and busy schedules in our daily lives, but I am so grateful that I made time to call this friend before he passed. Little did either one of us realize, that our individual closing wishes to each other, would be our parting comments in this life. No matter how busy you are, or think you are. Take the time to speak with your family members and friends often and always say goodbye by saying how you much you love them and miss them. As those could be the last words you could ever say to them. Each second on this earth could be our last, so make it work in a positive way. They will feel uplifted and so will you.
