I recently read a heartbreaking story in the news about a beautiful Black Lab in Brooklyn named Fiona, who was brutally attacked by a neighbor’s vicious dog. Tragically, Fiona didn’t survive. I was so moved by the story that I just HAD to make contact with the poor dog’s owners. I was able to find the woman on Facebook, and she accepted my “FRIEND” request. We have been corresponding ever since, and with her permission, I am sharing her family’s tribute to her beautiful Fiona. And when I saw Fiona’s date of birth, I almost fainted. Lacey and Fiona were born on the EXACT SAME DAY. I do believe God meant for this fateful meeting to take place…. and Fiona will live on in Lacey. Please hug your dogs a little tighter today, in Fiona’s memory……
